I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr
SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling :aww:
I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.

In the last couple of days i saw a bunch of films... and some of them were quiet good.
Some other just were lame D:"!!!

I saw:
Paranormal Activity (absolutely creepy, in a really cool way. Scared the hell out of me :<)
The Hills have Eyes II (Just gross, and made my stomach turn...)
Avatar (yeah, still my fave. But not as good as if u see that one in 3D Cinema)
The Book of Eli (loved the ending!)
Mind Hunters (okay, I've absolutely seen this film to often...It gets lame. But still it's a good film if you just see it ones!)
Saw VI (much better then V. Loved it, but I still think you have to watch them all or else you don't understand anything of the BG-story)
Pan's Labyrinth (I thought it was a children's film, but it is NOT. I don't think a little kid could handle a film like that. It's a bit terrifying x_X")
Alice in Wonderland (I don't know why...but I didn't like the film. I love Tim Burton, but this film is so dumb =____= )
REC (looooove, loooooove, LOVE <3 But after seeing it so often, it becomes boring Q__Q)
Skjult (I absolutely don't like european thrillers. But that one was so coool...and scary!)
Twilight (I hate mainstream films...but yeah...I've to admit it was a good film.)
aaaaaaaaaaand ....
Scared (It don't scared me...I fell asleep to this film. I didn't make any sense =-=;)
